Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience with a multiple line busy switchboard
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to type a minimum of 30 words per minute
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Ability to interact effectively as a member of a team
  • Ability to listen to customers and respond positively
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
  • Must be flexible and willing to assist with various clerical functions

Job Duties

  • Answer incoming calls
  • Route calls promptly and correctly
  • Politely take messages when necessary
  • Greet visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Ensure campus visitors sign in and receive necessary authorizations
  • Provide escort to visitors
  • Support enrollment tasks such as ordering and verifying transcripts
  • Assist with special admission events
  • Maintain appointment calendars and assist with confirmations
  • Inventory and maintain marketing materials
  • Assist with data entry, scanning, copying, and mailing projects
  • Perform other duties as needed
