We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and outgoing Receptionist to join our team on a full-time basis. This position is vital as it represents the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and employees entering our office. The Receptionist will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth communication and administrative support throughout the organization. Working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Receptionist will be responsible for a variety of duties including greeting and directing clients and guests, managing phone calls, handling mail and deliveries, performing clerical tasks, and supporting COVID-19 safety protocols. This role demands an individual with excellent communication skills, a bubbly and outgoing personality, and a professional demeanor who can manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a friendly and ethical workplace environment.
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications as well as basic administrative procedures. Experience in customer service and interpersonal communication is essential to thrive in this role. Job Duties
- Greet and direct Assisted Residential Services’ clients as they arrive to meet with administrative staff and program managers
- greet employees, visitors, and guests, determine the purpose of each person’s visit and direct or escort them to the appropriate location
- answer, screen, and direct phone calls to staff, take messages and schedule appointments
- receive mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and deliver or distribute items
- distribute incoming faxes to the correct departments
- perform administrative and clerical support tasks
- perform basic filing and recordkeeping
- perform Covid-19 tests and maintain temperature checks logs up to date
- help the Finance department receive signed timesheets on time following set guidelines
- perform other duties as assigned
- help quarterly manager with data analysis
