Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous receptionist, administrative, or healthcare office experience preferred
  • ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • customer service-oriented mindset with professionalism and empathy
  • familiarity with EMR systems preferred

Job Qualifications

  • experience processing invoices or supporting billing functions preferred
  • familiarity with EMR systems and medical office procedures preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet residents, families, visitors, vendors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner
  • answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls
  • take accurate messages and respond to general inquiries
  • support front desk operations including visitor check-in and directing guests appropriately
  • process invoices, verify charges, and route documentation for payment and approval
  • assist with billing-related inquiries and communicate with internal departments
  • maintain accurate records and documentation through data entry, filing, scanning, and copying
  • receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries
  • maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
  • ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and welcoming
  • collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support daily operations
