With a reputation built on delivering superior results, the company supports entrepreneurs and visionary enterprises through its capital and strategic resources. PEAK6 encompasses a diverse array of brands including PEAK6 Capital Management, PEAK6 Strategic Capital, Apex Fintech Solutions, FOCUS, We Insure, Evil Geniuses, Poker Power, Zogo, and Bruce Markets, each contributing to the firm's comprehensive market impact and technological advancement.
The Receptionist role at PEAK6 is a pivotal front-facing position responsible for creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere for employees, visitors, and guests. Serving as the initial point of contact, this role is crucial for facilitating a seamless and organized front-of-house experience that reflects the company’s values of excellence and efficiency. The receptionist is entrusted with maintaining an inviting environment while ensuring security protocols are strictly followed. The ideal candidate for this role will be warm, attentive, and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to enhancing the overall workplace experience. This position also acts as a reliable resource for employees needing various forms of workplace support, coordinating closely with multiple departments to uphold operational smoothness.
In addition to greeting and checking in visitors, the receptionist manages sign-in procedures, issues temporary badges, and liaises with security and HR teams to oversee access controls and onboarding processes. They handle communication responsibilities such as answering incoming calls and directing inquiries, ensuring that each interaction is met with professionalism and accuracy. The role extends to managing mail and package distribution, coordinating shipments, and maintaining the reception area’s arrangement and cleanliness throughout the day.
Moreover, the receptionist serves as a critical link for handling employee facilities requests by capturing, communicating, and tracking these needs until resolution, escalating urgent matters appropriately. This role demands someone highly organized and capable of managing competing priorities with a calm and clear communication style, both verbally and in writing. Comfort with technology including access control systems and general office software is essential to succeed in this position.
PEAK6 offers a comprehensive benefits package for this role, emphasizing employee well-being and professional growth, such as healthcare (medical, dental, and vision), employee assistance programs, paid time off, 401(k) match, parental leave, and HSA contributions. Employees also enjoy hybrid work options, external learning allowances, tuition reimbursement, and wellness resources like a paid Calm app subscription, reflecting PEAK6’s commitment to work-life balance and continuous development.
As an equal opportunity employer, PEAK6 is dedicated to fostering an inclusive workplace that respects diversity and provides reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities, ensuring fair and supportive hiring practices across all demographics. This commitment to fairness and accessibility underscores PEAK6’s standing as a forward-thinking company.
