Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum six months experience in a clerical role or completion of a secretarial science program
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Ability to make independent decisions when appropriate
- Knowledge of practices, procedures, laws, and regulations in post-acute care facilities
- Ability to implement department programs, goals, and procedures
- Competency in patient rights, safety, and sanitation
- Maintain professional working relationships
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary and confidential information
- Follow company policies, harassment, and compliance procedures
- Adhere to code of conduct and complete mandatory compliance training
- Ability to handle physical activities such as sitting, standing, bending during working hours
- Effective communication skills in English
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Successfully completed a secretarial science program from an accredited college or university or have a minimum of six months experience in a clerical role
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Knowledgeable of practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in a post-acute care facility
- Ability to implement and interpret department policies and procedures
- Demonstrated professional working relationships with associates and vendors
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary and confidential information
- Understanding and adherence to company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
- Displays integrity and professionalism adhering to the code of conduct and compliance training
Job Duties
- Service as the first point of contact for guests and visitors in person as well as via phone in a friendly and professional manner
- Effectively operate the facility phone and paging system
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
- Assist in the evacuation of patients
- Demonstrate dependable and regular attendance
- Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
- Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
- Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
