As an equal opportunity employer, they emphasize integrity, professionalism, and adherence to compliance and regulatory standards, ensuring a secure and respectful workplace for all staff.

The role available is a weekend receptionist position, designed to cover Saturday and Sunday shifts. This position plays a crucial part in the facility by being the first point of contact for all visitors and callers, offering both telephonic and in-person assistance with a welcoming and professional demeanor. The receptionist is responsible for executing clerical duties efficiently while complying with all applicable laws, Life Care standards, and guidelines. The position offers a competitive hourly wage, ranging from $17.29 to $19.10 based on experience, making it an attractive opportunity for entry-level applicants or those looking to enhance their clerical experience in a healthcare environment.

The weekend receptionist will greet all visitors and handle incoming calls, operating the facility’s phone and paging systems effectively. The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication to assist with administrative tasks. Important attributes for success include independent decision-making when appropriate, a solid understanding of regulations governing post-acute care facilities, adherence to confidentiality policies, and the implementation of the department's objectives and procedures.

Candidates must demonstrate excellent customer service skills and maintain professional interactions with colleagues, vendors, and patients alike. They must uphold patient rights, safety, and sanitation standards while supporting emergency procedures such as patient evacuation. This role necessitates consistent attendance, the capacity to concentrate and apply good judgment, and the ability to cooperate efficiently with interdisciplinary teams.

Moreover, physical demands of this position include sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently throughout working hours. Fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English is required to perform the functions effectively. The company fosters a workplace culture rooted in respect, compliance with harassment policies, and completion of mandatory training relating to the code of conduct.

This role is ideal for candidates who are seeking weekend work within a healthcare setting, possess strong clerical skills, and enjoy interacting with patients and visitors in a professional capacity.
