We are currently seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Receptionist to join our team. This pivotal role involves being the first point of contact for anyone entering our office, playing an essential part in creating a welcoming, organized, and efficient atmosphere. The Receptionist supports both visitors and employees by managing front desk operations with professionalism and courtesy. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting visitors, handling multi-line phone systems, managing mail and deliveries, and performing various clerical duties to keep daily office functions running smoothly. Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask are essential.

This full-time position offers a standard 8-hour day shift, Monday through Friday. Job Requirements

  • Must be able to operate standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, and telephones
  • will consistently work in a well-illuminated and temperature-controlled office setting
  • the role requires sitting for roughly 90 percent of the day with remaining time spent walking, standing, bending, squatting, or lifting up to 15 pounds at a time

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1+ years front desk receptionist experience with multi-line phone systems
  • previous clerical or office experience preferred
  • basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, email, and data entry
  • attention to detail with accuracy managing multiple tasks
  • proficient in business communication including phone, email, and in-person etiquette and grammar
  • essential customer service skills
  • good organizational and time management skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Greet visitors, notify the appropriate person of their arrival, and provide a friendly welcoming first impression
  • answer, screen, and transfer multi-line phone calls
  • take messages and manage correspondence
  • handle front desk tasks including mail and other deliveries
  • maintain office security by following procedures, controlling access, and issuing visitor badges
  • perform various clerical tasks such as filing, sorting, and data entry
  • keep the reception area clean, organized, and sanitized including desk and high-touch surfaces
  • submit work orders and repair requests as needed to property management and follow up via email and phone
  • assist with miscellaneous tasks as needed
