Job Requirements
- Must be able to operate standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, and telephones
- will consistently work in a well-illuminated and temperature-controlled office setting
- the role requires sitting for roughly 90 percent of the day with remaining time spent walking, standing, bending, squatting, or lifting up to 15 pounds at a time
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1+ years front desk receptionist experience with multi-line phone systems
- previous clerical or office experience preferred
- basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, email, and data entry
- attention to detail with accuracy managing multiple tasks
- proficient in business communication including phone, email, and in-person etiquette and grammar
- essential customer service skills
- good organizational and time management skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Greet visitors, notify the appropriate person of their arrival, and provide a friendly welcoming first impression
- answer, screen, and transfer multi-line phone calls
- take messages and manage correspondence
- handle front desk tasks including mail and other deliveries
- maintain office security by following procedures, controlling access, and issuing visitor badges
- perform various clerical tasks such as filing, sorting, and data entry
- keep the reception area clean, organized, and sanitized including desk and high-touch surfaces
- submit work orders and repair requests as needed to property management and follow up via email and phone
- assist with miscellaneous tasks as needed
