Job Description

Our outpatient endoscopy center is a specialized healthcare facility that offers comprehensive endoscopic procedures and patient care services with a focus on quality, safety, and patient comfort. We are currently seeking a part-time Receptionist to join our team and provide front desk support one day per week. This role is crucial as the first point of contact for patients and visitors at the outpatient endoscopy center. The Receptionist will manage patient check-in, answer incoming calls, assist with scheduling, and maintain an organized and professional reception area. The position requires a strong understanding of confidentiality principles under HIPAA and the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and clinical staff. The ideal candidate will be reliable and detail-oriented, demonstrating accuracy in handling patient payments and basic data entry tasks. The role demands professionalism and the ability to remain calm and courteous in a clinical setting. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • greet and check in patients effectively
  • answer and route incoming phone calls professionally

  • collect copayments and patient payments accurately
  • perform basic data entry and maintain patient records
  • ensure the reception area is organized and presentable
  • adhere to patient confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines
