Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one year experience in a customer service role
- ability to operate multiline telephone systems
- basic computer and office equipment skills
- ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
- capacity to handle sensitive information confidentially
- availability to work rotating shifts, holidays and inclement weather
- ability to perform occasional physical tasks such as lifting and bending

Job Duties
- Operate multiline telephone and paging system
- answer incoming calls, determine the nature of the call and route to appropriate party
- locate personnel by using overhead paging system
- greet and direct visitors, ensure sign-in and refuse entry if necessary
- report suspicious behavior to the supervisor
- respond to inquiries regarding job openings and distribute applications
- receive, sort, and forward incoming mail
- report guest concerns to appropriate department head
- maintain list of guests by name and room number, staff extension numbers and key personnel
- handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
- keep lobby and workstation clean and free of hazards
- report hazardous conditions, damaged equipment, accidents and supply issues
- maintain infection control and safety precautions
- communicate respectfully and effectively with guests, visitors, and staff
- respond promptly and courteously to call lights
- participate in departmental meetings and trainings
- support Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives
- attend compliance trainings and adhere to policies
- share opportunities for improvement and positive project outcomes with leadership
- support QAPI efforts through appropriate actions and attitude
- respond to special guest and family requests
