Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a receptionist or clerical role preferred
- proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- ability to operate fax machines, copiers, scanners, and multi-line phone systems
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- reliable and punctual with strong organizational abilities
Job Qualifications
- Past experience as a receptionist or in a clerical/office setting is preferred
- strong computer usage skills including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, databases, account software, spreadsheets, and the Internet
- knowledge and experience in the use of a fax machine/copier/scanner and a multi-line phone system
Job Duties
- Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen, or forward calls, providing information, taking messages, or scheduling appointments
- conduct customer collections calls and invoicing
- greet persons entering establishment, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations
- provide information about establishments, such as location of departments or offices, managers within the organization, or services provided
- file and maintain records as well as other administrative support tasks
