Job Qualifications
- 3 plus years of experience as a receptionist in a professional environment
- 2 plus years of client or customer service experience
- 1 plus year of experience working in a law firm environment preferred
- multi-line telephone proficiency
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- computer literacy consistent with contemporary business standards including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams
- proficiency in operating standard office equipment
- general knowledge of mail systems including USPS, UPS, FedEx
- ability to lift packages up to 25 lbs and sit for prolonged periods
Job Duties
- Represent the firm with professionalism and enthusiasm
- handle a high volume of calls on multiple phone lines with sensitivity and poise
- quickly identify and correctly route calls to appropriate persons and teams
- perform data entry, administrative, and other special tasks from the reception desk
- maintain and stock conference rooms to ensure readiness for meetings
- receive deliveries and sort and distribute incoming mail
- maintain the firm’s supply of branded merchandise, monitor inventory levels, and coordinate new orders with the Marketing team
- prepare and mail promotional and marketing materials to referring attorneys and clients
