Founded on the principles of integrity, credibility, and a strong team orientation, Era Living has built a compassionate and supportive environment for its residents. The company emphasizes a values-based approach to care, ensuring every team member contributes to a trustworthy and respectful atmosphere. Recognized by the Seattle Times as the Best Senior Community in the Pacific Northwest for 2023, 2024, and 2025, Era Living continues to set industry standards through its commitment to excellence and outstanding communication.
Era Living is currently seeking a part-time Receptionist to join the Administration team at its University House community in Issaquah, WA. This role offers competitive compensation of $20.82 per hour along with valuable benefits, including free meals and free onsite parking. The position requires availability to work Fridays from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM and Saturdays from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM with the ability to cover both shifts consistently.
The Receptionist plays a vital role as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, families, and staff, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. Responsibilities include answering phones promptly, directing calls appropriately, greeting visitors and residents, and responding to emergency situations efficiently. The Receptionist must maintain front desk standards and job functions, as well as fulfill various clerical support duties as assigned.
Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with multiple stakeholders including residents, care-team members, volunteers, and families. The role demands proficiency in computer use, especially Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel, along with strong data entry and accuracy skills. A clear ability to multitask and prioritize duties under sometimes fast-paced conditions is essential for success in this position.
The ideal applicant should have at least six months of prior reception experience and possess or be willing to obtain certification in First Aid and CPR. Passing the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) background check is mandatory to ensure the safety and welfare of the community. Era Living values professionalism, responsibility, and dedication in its employees, offering opportunities for growth, longevity bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package that supports work-life balance and employee well-being.
