Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Prior coursework or on-the-job training in dentistry, insurance, or business preferred
- Knowledge of office practices, technology applications, and patient insurances

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Model company culture, values, standards, and best operational practices based on the We Believe Behavioral Framework
- Support the PPE process by helping to get patients into the office and ensuring they are comfortable during their visit
- Schedule appointments to ensure each healthcare provider has a smooth, productive day
- Interact and communicate with patients and guests in the reception area during their wait time
- Answer telephones in a timely manner and handle all calls efficiently and thoroughly
- Ensure daily completion of all tasks on the front office checklist
- Post payments to patient accounts according to company policies
- Serve as a subject matter expert in practice management systems for patient registration and e-check in
- Efficiently manage patient check-in, obtain necessary consents, and notify back office of patient arrivals
- Confirm all patient appointments at least two days in advance per office policies
- Return and resolve all patient messages from the Contact Center in a timely manner
- Actively participate in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and other required meetings
- Maintain thorough understanding of business imperatives and impact on operational metrics
- Demonstrate stewardship of the PDS Brand consistent with brand framework
- Support clinicians on patient education regarding the Mouth-Body Connection
- Maintain professional appearance and demeanor per company policies
- Ensure compliance with company, state, federal, and regulatory policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
