Job Description
The hiring establishment is an Adult Day Health Care (ADHC) center that provides specialized services designed to support the health and well-being of adults who require assistance during the day. This center is dedicated to offering comprehensive care programs including Community-Based Adult Services (CBAS) that focus on helping participants maintain their independence and quality of life through therapeutic, medical, and social support activities. The facility is built on a foundation of compassionate care, professional service, and a commitment to creating a welcoming environment for participants, their families, and caregivers alike.
This role is for a professional and reliable Receptionist who has previous experience working within an ADHC or CBAS setting. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with TurboTAR software, which is commonly used to manage administrative and data entry tasks in adult day health care centers. As the first point of contact for participants, families, visitors, and healthcare staff, the Receptionist plays a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the center. The position is based in person at the center, offering a vital front office function by delivering excellent customer service while coordinating appointments, managing attendance records, and handling front desk workflows efficiently and accurately.
The Receptionist's responsibilities include greeting participants warmly when they arrive, managing phone communications professionally, and scheduling appointments to optimize daily program attendance. Strong organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate TurboTAR databases and handling sensitive participant documentation securely. Additionally, the Receptionist will coordinate closely with nursing, social services, and activity staff to ensure seamless program operations and exceptional care coordination. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment, and strong communication skills to interact effectively with a diverse population.
The position offers an hourly wage of $19.00 and emphasizes reliability, professionalism, and teamwork. Bilingual candidates are preferred but not required. The center values those who bring a collaborative spirit, a keen understanding of ADHC workflows and regulations, and a passion for contributing to a supportive healthcare environment. This role is a wonderful opportunity for an organized and compassionate individual seeking to make a meaningful impact within an adult day health care setting.
