The role of Receptionist at Covenant Living is a pivotal position responsible for embodying the community’s mission and values by serving as the initial point of contact for residents, staff, and visitors. Job Requirements

- One year of secretarial training or clerical experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Duties
- Answer all telephone calls swiftly in a polite and friendly manner
- Transfer calls appropriately and take messages when necessary
- Monitor emergency systems and direct staff to emergency situations
- Greet residents, staff, and visitors and provide relevant information
- Ensure visitors and contractors sign in and wear badges as per policy
- Keep the reception desk and lobby clean and organized
- Facilitate transportation requests and coordinate timing
- Assist residents with program and activity sign-ups
- Manage office equipment usage and report supply needs
- Sell postage stamps and handle mail and packages
- Process mail services for residents
- Facilitate and input maintenance requests and communicate urgencies
- Complete guest charge sheets following procedures
- Support other departments and assist Office Manager with clerical tasks
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
