We are currently seeking a friendly, organized, and upbeat Receptionist to become the welcoming face and voice at our front desk. This role is pivotal in creating positive first impressions, as the Receptionist is often the initial point of contact for residents, families, staff, and visitors entering our facility. The position blends administrative responsibilities with interpersonal communication skills, requiring a candidate who can handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of professionalism and warmth.

The Receptionist will answer and direct incoming phone calls, acting as the main communication hub for the building. They will greet residents, families, staff, and guests warmly and professionally, assist visitors in finding resident rooms, and direct vendors to the appropriate personnel. Supporting leadership and various departments including the CEO, Admissions, and Business Office ensures that this individual is not only the face of our organization but also a reliable resource for general questions and information. The ability to keep the front desk running smoothly and efficiently is essential for maintaining the welcoming atmosphere our organization is committed to.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred but not required
  • Prior receptionist, front desk, or customer service experience is highly valued
  • Experience handling phones, scheduling, or working in a fast-paced environment is a plus
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Successful completion of state-required background checks
