The role of Receptionist at LSA Family Health Service is foundational to the organization’s mission of connecting families to essential resources efficiently and warmly. This full-time, in-person position reports directly to the Director of Advocacy and offers a salary range of $40,000 to $45,000 per year. The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, callers, and community members seeking assistance. As a bilingual Spanish-English communicator, the Receptionist must ensure that language barriers do not hinder access to services. Responsibilities include welcoming guests, answering and directing calls, coordinating appointments through platforms like Google Calendar, and maintaining accurate client and visitor records in the organization’s database systems. This role requires the individual to juggle multiple tasks calmly and professionally while handling sensitive inquiries with empathy. The Receptionist also plays a critical role in managing the physical environment of the front desk area, keeping it safe, clean, and organized. This position is pivotal in facilitating effective internal communication and logistics, enhancing the overall client experience. The ideal candidate will also help with administrative duties such as receiving and distributing mail and donations. Job Duties

  • Greet guests and respond to phone calls, voicemails, and emails in a timely and professional manner
  • Check and schedule appointments using Google Calendar to facilitate the needs of clients, staff, vendors, volunteers, donors, and other guests
  • Navigate and input notes into the database system as needed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment in the lobby and front entrance area
  • Assist clients, donors, and volunteers with basic inquiries while gathering any relevant information or documents
  • Receive mail and donations and ensure they go to the correct recipients
