Job Description

United Digestive is a leading company specializing in digestive health, dedicated to providing exceptional services and support in the healthcare industry. The corporate headquarters plays a pivotal role in maintaining the smooth operation of organizational functions, ensuring that all departments collaborate effectively to meet the company's goals and uphold its strong commitment to quality care and customer service. As a forefront establishment in the healthcare sector, United Digestive prides itself on fostering an inclusive, professional, and welcoming environment for both employees and visitors alike, maintaining high standards of efficiency and hospitality throughout its operations.

The Receptionist position at United Digestive’s corporate headquarters is a critical role that serves as the first point of contact for visitors, vendors, and guests, establishing the initial impression of the company. This on-site role, which requires physical attendance four days a week, is more than just welcoming visitors; it encompasses a wide array of administrative and organizational responsibilities that are vital to daily office functionality. The receptionist’s duties extend beyond greeting to managing office supplies, coordinating office deliveries, assisting with event setups, and maintaining a clean and orderly reception area. This position requires an individual who can efficiently multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a warm and professional demeanor.

In this role, the receptionist is entrusted with handling various administrative duties, including booking reservations, placing catering orders, sending flowers, and mailing thank-you letters, which contribute to the smooth execution of internal and external corporate communications and events. The ability to manage diverse tasks, such as restocking snack closets and soda fridges, tidying conference rooms, and cleaning the coffee machine daily, makes this position essential in ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for all employees and visitors. Furthermore, the receptionist is responsible for adhering to security protocols, ensuring that visitors comply with company policies to maintain a safe and secure workplace.

Candidates for this role should demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with strong organizational capabilities and attention to detail. Proven experience in receptionist, administrative, or customer service roles is essential, along with a dependable and punctual work ethic. Prior corporate experience is considered an asset but not mandatory. Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and the role requires both sitting and standing typical in an office setting. United Digestive emphasizes a drug-free workplace policy, requiring successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening, reflecting the company’s dedication to maintaining a healthy and professional work environment.

United Digestive promotes equal employment opportunities, offering a workplace free of discrimination based on race, religion, gender, color, or national origin, supporting a diverse and inclusive workforce. This role offers an enriching opportunity for detail-oriented and personable individuals to contribute to the efficiency and welcoming atmosphere of a respected healthcare corporate environment, gaining valuable experience while supporting the company’s mission and everyday operations.
