Job Description
Conviva Senior Primary Care is a specialized healthcare organization dedicated to delivering proactive and preventive medical care tailored specifically for senior patients. As part of CenterWell Senior Primary Care and Humana Inc., Conviva embraces a value-based care model that strives to ensure every patient receives the highest quality care precisely when it is most needed and at the lowest possible cost. Their approach goes beyond traditional medical services by addressing the comprehensive well-being of seniors, including physical, social, emotional, behavioral, and financial aspects that impact their health and quality of life. With locations across the nation, including the Conviva Bayside site in Corpus Christi, Texas, they provide a range of essential services such as wellness visits, physical exams, chronic condition management, screenings, and minor injury treatments, all aimed at promoting longevity and enhanced health outcomes for older adults.
CenterWell, a Humana company, stands as one of the largest providers focused on senior primary care and home health services in the United States. Leveraging the stability and innovation of Humana, CenterWell empowers its workforce of over 30,000 clinicians with competitive benefits, professional growth opportunities, flexible scheduling, and leadership training programs. This commitment to employee well-being mirrors the company’s patient-centered philosophy, fostering a supportive environment for both care recipients and employees alike.
The Receptionist 1 role at Conviva Bayside is a pivotal entry point for delivering exceptional customer service and operational efficiency within a healthcare setting. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $38,000 to $45,800 per year and is eligible for bonus incentives based on performance. The receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring all interactions are handled promptly, courteously, and accurately. Responsibilities include managing a multi-line phone system, routing calls, greeting visitors, and maintaining visitor logs and security passes. The role also involves performing routine administrative tasks such as booking meeting rooms, managing mail and courier services, and responding to general inquiries about the organization’s services, location, and operations.
This position requires multitasking and attention to detail, working closely under established guidelines and policies with minimal deviation. Since the role is patient-facing, candidates will participate in the company’s tuberculosis screening program to ensure the health and safety of all. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, phone etiquette, a collaborative team approach, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Additionally, experience in healthcare environments, knowledge of medical terminology, or bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are highly desirable.
Working at Conviva offers not only the chance to contribute meaningfully to senior health but also to be part of a caring community committed to whole-person well-being. Employees benefit from comprehensive health plans effective from day one, paid time off, retirement savings with employer match, tuition assistance, and career development resources, all fostering both personal and professional growth. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for healthcare and customer service to make a positive impact within a renowned and stable organization focused on putting health first.
