The Receptionist 1 position at Conviva Saratoga in Corpus Christi plays a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of the practice’s front desk and welcoming environment. The receptionist is often the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and callers, making customer service skills essential. Responsibilities include managing incoming and outgoing telephone calls through a multi-line phone system, welcoming visitors, issuing visitor passes, maintaining visitor logs, and directing visitors to the appropriate offices or departments. The role also includes administrative and clerical duties such as booking meeting rooms, typing, sorting and distributing mail, and handling courier packages. Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a courteous, prompt demeanor are critical for success. This position typically handles routine assignments with established procedures but requires the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • one year or more of relevant experience preferably in healthcare or strong customer service environments
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to multitask effectively
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • must be able to perform routine clerical tasks diligently
  • patient facing role requiring tuberculosis screening
  • positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Job Qualifications

  • One year or more of experience in a healthcare setting preferred but strong customer service background in retail, hospitality, or call centers accepted
