Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- A minimum of one year of experience with Indian Housing
- Basic knowledge of computer functions and applications including word processing, spreadsheets, maps, and graphics
- Ability to interpret NAHASDA, HUD, Housing Policies, and other federal regulations
- Excellent organizational skills
- Effective people and communication skills and patience in dealing with a variety of human dispositions
- Ability to educate clients who are unfamiliar with Housing regulations and programs
- Knowledge of operation and maintenance of office machines
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods and perform repetitive work at the computer
- Some bending, stretching, and lifting

Job Duties
- Collect and collate data for CPNHD activity reporting
- Provide support and assist other program managers
- Type memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents as required
- Collect and process rent payments when Affordable Housing Manager is unavailable
- Receive inquiries about CPNHD programs and direct to the appropriate department
- Send or hand out applications to individuals interested in the Housing Programs
- Generate the quarterly Housing Newsletter
- Assist applicants with understanding the guidelines of the current Housing programs
- Provide support in maintaining and updating applicant files
- Collect and distribute mail and messages
- Assist in the coordination of resident events
- Maintain CPNHD administrative files
- Contact Housekeeping, Maintenance, Phone Repair, and other mechanical repair vendors when necessary
- Order office, equipment, and kitchen supplies
- Check prices for the procurement process and fill out proper paperwork required by HUD
- Maintain files on work orders
- Perform all other duties as assigned
