Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
- prior coursework or training in dentistry, insurance, or business preferred
- knowledge of office practices, technology applications, and patient insurances

- detailed-oriented and organized with strong process focus
- financial acumen regarding profit drivers and metrics
- effective influencer skilled in listening and behavior observation

Job Duties
- Model company culture, values, standards, and best operational practices
- support the Perfect Patient Experience process by assisting patients to visit and ensuring their comfort
- schedule appointments to optimize provider productivity
- interact and communicate with patients and guests in the reception area
- answer telephones promptly and manage calls efficiently
- complete daily front office checklist tasks
- post payments to patient accounts as per company policy
- act as a subject matter expert on the practice management system for patient registration and e-check in
- efficiently check in patients, obtain consents, and notify the back office of arrivals
- confirm all patient appointments at least two days in advance
- return and resolve patient messages from the Contact Center timely
- actively participate in daily huddles and meetings
- understand and impact business metrics through role responsibilities
- demonstrate stewardship of the PDS brand and make brand-aligned decisions
- support clinician patient education about the Mouth-Body Connection
- maintain appropriate professional appearance and demeanor
- comply with company policies and state, federal, and regulatory requirements
- perform other duties as assigned
