Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • one to two years of experience in a professional setting
  • proficiency in spoken and written Russian language
  • basic computer proficiency skills
  • ability to maintain professionalism and composure under pressure
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • some college coursework or an associate's degree is preferred
  • one to two years of experience in a professional setting with a focus on reception customer service or administrative support
  • proficiency in spoken and written Russian language is required
  • demonstrated basic computer proficiency skills general comfort with technology

  • deliver responsive and compassionate service and the ability to establish and maintain excellent rapport with clients families staff and community members

Job Duties

  • Serves as the primary staff member responsible for building reception coverage during regular business hours following all agency policies procedures and protocols
  • answers and appropriately routes all incoming calls
  • relays messages from participants families and vendors promptly to the appropriate team member
  • provides information and referral requests services as appropriate
  • greets and screens all program participants and visitors in a warm professional and courteous manner both in person and over the phone
  • maintains a visible and consistent front desk presence to ensure responsive service during operational hours
  • ensures registration of all staff and visitors for appointments trainings groups and workshops using the lobby iPad registry
  • operates and monitors the agency's building security systems including closed-circuit cameras and door sensors
  • alerts appropriate staff to minor security issues and escalates major incidents to the Sr Director of Facilities Operations the Administrator and the central security services and SFPD as directed
  • accepts logs and notifies recipients of deliveries and pickups
  • sort and distribute incoming mail and packages with attention to time sensitivity
  • maintains professional appearance and general upkeep of the reception area and lobby
  • ensures reception area equipment phones security monitors etc is functional
  • reports on technical issues to the Sr Director of Facilities Operations or Tech Support team
  • performs clerical and administrative tasks such as filing photocopying assembling materials and preparing mailings as assigned
