Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a retail environment
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to efficiently use computers and adapt to new software
  • Patience and customer-service orientation
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills including friendliness, caring, and patience
  • Sales skills
  • Familiarity and efficiency with computers and quick adaptation to new software

Job Duties

  • Answers phones in a timely manner and transfers calls to the appropriate individual or department
  • Greets patients without delay when they enter the office and shows urgency in providing the highest level of service
  • Determines the reason for the patient's visit and explains all required paperwork, tests, products, and services
  • Communicates appropriate time frames to patients
  • Is attentive to details by reviewing patient information carefully and patiently addressing questions
  • Offers to track down answers to unfamiliar questions and consults with managing doctor or retail staff when necessary
  • Processes claims and enters patients' orders
