Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a receptionist or administrative support role preferred
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- experience with Central Reach billing and scheduling software preferred
- ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- demonstrated exceptional customer service skills
- knowledge of autism spectrum disorders is a plus
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
- Safe Crisis Management, CPR, and First-Aid certifications (or willingness to complete training)
- reliable attendance and punctuality
- physical ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
- ability to engage physically with clients and families
- flexibility to adapt to changes in client needs and schedules
Job Qualifications

- knowledge of autism and related disorders is a plus
- ability to read and interpret documents such as assessments, treatment plans, and procedural manuals
- ability to write reports and correspondence in a clear and concise manner
- ability to analyze complex situations and solve problems effectively
- ability to interpret and apply guidelines and protocols flexibly to meet individual client needs
- ability to log in to data/scheduling applications and input necessary information
- Safe Crisis Management, CPR, and First-Aid certifications required (training provided if necessary)
Job Duties
- Answer incoming calls, greet visitors, and provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and directing them to the appropriate staff members
- audit waiver notes and claims
- assist with maintaining and updating client records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- collaborate with the clinical team to ensure timely communication and coordination of client appointments and cancellations
- maintain the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
- assist in organizing and coordinating meetings, conferences, and special events as needed
- handle incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and preparing packages for shipment
- assist with various administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record keeping
- uphold the center's policies and procedures to ensure compliance and a safe environment for clients and staff
- maintain a positive and professional demeanor in all interactions with clients, visitors, and staff members
