Job Qualifications

- Prior course work or on-the-job training in dentistry, insurance, or business preferred
- Knowledge of office practices, technology applications, and patient insurances

- Detail-oriented and organized process-focused operator with computer proficiency

Job Duties
- Model company culture, values, standards, and best operational practices based on the We Believe Behavioral Framework
- Support the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE) process by helping to get patients into the office and ensuring their comfort during visits
- Schedule appointments to ensure smooth and productive days for healthcare providers
- Interact and communicate professionally with patients and guests in the reception area during wait times
- Answer telephones promptly and handle calls efficiently and thoroughly
- Complete all daily front office checklist tasks
- Post payments to patient accounts in line with company policies
- Serve as subject matter expert for practice management system concerning patient registration and e-check-in
- Efficiently manage patient check-in process, obtain necessary consents, and notify back office of patient arrivals and pertinent information
- Confirm patient appointments at least two days in advance following office policies
- Respond to and resolve patient messages from the Contact Center in a timely manner
- Actively participate in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and other required meetings
- Understand business imperatives and the role's impact on operational metrics
- Uphold stewardship of the PDS Brand by making decisions consistent with brand framework
- Support clinicians in patient education about the Mouth-Body Connection
- Maintain professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company policies
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant state, federal, and regulatory requirements
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
