Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Modeling company culture, values, standards, and best operational practices based on the We Believe Behavioral Framework
  • Support the Perfect Patient Experience process by helping to get patients into the office and ensuring their comfort during visits
  • Schedule appointments to facilitate a smooth and productive day for healthcare providers
  • Interact and communicate respectfully with patients and guests in the reception area
  • Answer telephones promptly and handle calls efficiently and thoroughly
  • Complete all tasks on the front office checklist daily
  • Post payments to patient accounts according to company policies
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in the practice management system regarding patient registration, e-check in, and account accuracy
  • Efficiently check in patients, obtain necessary consents, and notify back office of arrivals and relevant patient information
  • Confirm all patient appointments at least two days in advance per office policies
  • Return and resolve all patient messages from the Contact Center in a timely manner
  • Actively participate in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and other required meetings
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of business imperatives and the role's impact on metrics
  • Demonstrate stewardship of the PDS Brand through consistent decision-making aligned with the brand framework
  • Support clinician efforts in patient education regarding the Mouth-Body Connection
  • Maintain professional appearance and demeanor and address others respectfully
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant state, federal, and regulatory requirements
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
