Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum three years of relevant experience
- Proficient in English and Spanish in reading, speaking and writing
- Must be a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Must maintain compliance with the Diocese of Austin Ethics and Integrity in Ministry (EIM) policies throughout the employment period
Job Qualifications

- Proficient in English and Spanish in reading, speaking and writing
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of Google Docs, Sheets, and Google products
- Knowledge of general office phone systems
- Knowledge of general office equipment such as printers, scanners and laminators
- Good organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to provide a welcoming environment to all visitors of the parish
- Positive and can-do attitude
- Be able to be flexible in an ever-changing environment
- Dependable and trustworthy
- Must be a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing
Job Duties
- Support and uphold the philosophy of Catholic ministry and the mission of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church both professionally and personally
- Act as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church
- Continuously grow in ministry by participating in religious ceremonies, training sessions, and reflection activities
- Serve as the first point of contact for parishioners
- Answer phone calls and provide information
- Assist with baptism class sign-ups and booking baptism dates
- Schedule mass intentions and maintain mass intention list
- Schedule sanctuary candle intentions and maintain sanctuary candle list
- Make and laminate signs as needed
- Enter membership forms in Ministry Platform and Cathedral envelope system
- Assist with clerical endowment cards
- Mail welcome cards and assist with addressing/labeling
- Make sacrament certificates of all types
- Make copies and refill paper in copier
- Help keep work room clean and stocked
- Help keep lobby tidy
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and inform Business Manager when supplies need to be ordered
- Assist in preparation of mass notebooks for weekends, including prayers of the faithful
- Perform other duties as assigned
