Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- previous experience in customer service, office work, or a school setting preferred
- proficiency with phone systems, email, and basic computer programs (Microsoft Office, Google Suite)
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- friendly, professional demeanor and the ability to multitask

Job Duties
- Greet and assist visitors, students, and parents ensuring a welcoming and professional front office environment
- maintain detailed sign-in logs to track all visitors entering and leaving the premises
- manage background checks for all volunteers and agencies
- answer phone calls, direct inquiries, and manage email communications
- maintain student records including enrollment and attendance
- coordinate reception of health information and records with the school nurse
- assist with student registration, withdrawals, and transfers
- prepare and distribute school correspondence, newsletters, and announcements
- schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and events for the Head of School and administrative staff
- manage office supplies and ensure the office is well-organized and stocked
- handle confidential information with discretion
- support the principal and staff with various clerical tasks including filing, data entry, and document preparation
- manage substitute teacher support
- assist with students who come in late to school or leave early to ensure they have signed in/out and have a pass to class
- share information broadly with administrators, teachers, and students' families through email, phone calls, or alternative communication methods
- receive, sort, and systematize mail and packages
- other duties as assigned by building and district administration
