Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Experience in clerical position or relevant administrative role preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Proficiency in basic computer and office equipment
  • Ability to interact tactfully with residents, visitors, and staff
  • Capacity to handle potentially stressful and emotional situations
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Experience in a clerical position preferred
  • Completion of a secretarial science program from an accredited school or college is a plus
  • Ability to make independent decisions and follow instructions

  • Proficient in English with good spoken and written skills
  • Ability to work with ill, disabled, elderly, or emotionally upset individuals
  • Proficient in typing and general office equipment usage

Job Duties

  • Greet visitors, residents, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner
  • Identify visitors and direct them to appropriate locations
  • Process and record visitor information according to community guidelines
  • Answer phone calls, determine their nature, and direct callers accordingly
  • Respond to requests from within the community
  • Maintain accurate resident information including eligibility to receive calls and emergency contacts
  • Exercise discretion to maintain confidentiality and privacy of information
  • Identify security concerns and notify supervisors or authorities
  • Communicate facility policies and procedures effectively with visitors, staff, and vendors
  • Perform administrative duties including typing, copying, filing, mailing, and ordering supplies
  • Maintain a clean and professional work environment
  • Document and resolve concerns or relay them to appropriate staff
  • Conduct small monetary transactions ethically and responsibly
  • Attend training programs to comply with state and federal requirements
