Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with general office procedures and equipment
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience operating a two-way radio and general announcing system
  • Some bookkeeping skills focused on data entry
  • Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and professionally
  • Active, valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Serve as the first point of contact for staff, individuals and visitors to the facility
  • Answer a multi-line phone system and provide high-level customer service including answering general questions
  • Maintain security by following procedures, monitoring logbooks, issuing visitor badges and enforcing access control
  • Monitor visitor activity and video surveillance
  • Contact police and/or fire departments in emergencies and act as first responder for emergency situations
