Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Prior experience in dental office or customer service preferred
- Strong communication skills both oral and written
- Proficiency with computer applications and office technology
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Capacity to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with regulatory standards

- Strong organizational and time management skills
Job Qualifications

- Prior course work or on-the-job training in dentistry insurance or business preferred
- Knowledge of office practices technology applications and patient insurances

Job Duties
- Model company culture values standards and best operational practices based on the We Believe Behavioral Framework
- Support the Perfect Patient Experience process by helping to get patients into the office and ensuring their comfort during visits
- Schedule appointments to enable each healthcare provider to have a smooth and productive day
- Interact and communicate with patients and guests in the reception area during their wait time
- Answer telephones promptly and handle calls efficiently and thoroughly
- Complete all tasks on the front office checklist daily
- Post payments to patient accounts according to company policies
- Serve as subject matter expert in practice management system regarding patient registration and account information
- Efficiently check in patients by obtaining necessary consents and notifying back office of arrivals and pertinent information
- Confirm all patient appointments in accordance with office policies at least 2 days in advance
- Return and resolve all patient messages received from the Contact Center in a timely manner
- Actively participate in daily morning huddles monthly team meetings and other required meetings
- Understand business imperatives and how the role impacts metrics
- Demonstrate stewardship of the PDS Brand by making consistent decisions
- Support clinicians on patient education regarding the Mouth-Body Connection
- Maintain professional appearance and demeanor in line with company policies
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory bodies
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
