Job Requirements

Must be available to work weekends and some holidays
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in customer service preferred
Strong communication skills
Ability to multitask effectively
Basic computer proficiency
Willingness to perform some physical tasks including hospital maintenance
Friendly and professional demeanor

Previous experience in a customer service or client-facing role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Knowledge or willingness to learn about veterinary terminology and pet care
Proficiency in scheduling software and basic computer skills
Ability to work well in a team environment

Job Duties

Greeting visitors and answering telephone calls
Guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms
Scheduling and confirming appointments
Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients
Presenting and explaining fees and processing payments
Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services including prescriptions
Answering questions regarding products and services and educating clients on animal husbandry and non-medical pet care
Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence
Maintaining hospital cleanliness including removal of animal waste
