Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- minimum six months experience in a clerical role or completion of secretarial science program
- proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- knowledge of post-acute care facility laws and regulations
- ability to make independent decisions when necessary
- capable of following company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
- strong attendance record
- physical ability to perform required duties during working hours
- effective communication skills in English
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- successfully completed a secretarial science program from an accredited college or university or have a minimum of six months experience in a clerical role
- proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- knowledgeable of practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines governing post-acute care facilities
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to make independent decisions
- understanding of patient rights and safety standards
- able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Job Duties
- Serve as the first point of contact for guests and visitors in person and via phone in a friendly and professional manner
- effectively operate the facility phone and paging system
- exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
- assist in the evacuation of patients
- demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
- concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
- communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
- sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
- read, write, speak, and understand the English language
