Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • minimum six months experience in a clerical role or completion of secretarial science program
  • proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
  • knowledge of post-acute care facility laws and regulations
  • ability to make independent decisions when necessary
  • capable of following company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
  • strong attendance record
  • physical ability to perform required duties during working hours
  • effective communication skills in English

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • successfully completed a secretarial science program from an accredited college or university or have a minimum of six months experience in a clerical role
  • proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
  • knowledgeable of practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines governing post-acute care facilities
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to make independent decisions
  • understanding of patient rights and safety standards
  • able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

Job Duties

  • Serve as the first point of contact for guests and visitors in person and via phone in a friendly and professional manner
  • effectively operate the facility phone and paging system
  • exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
  • assist in the evacuation of patients
  • demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
  • concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
  • communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
  • sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
  • read, write, speak, and understand the English language
