Job Requirements
- Active student currently attending beautician, barber, or cosmetology school
- Scheduled to graduate from cosmetology or barber school soon
- Ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and peak salon hours
- Basic proficiency in handling cash and point-of-sale systems
- Ability to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Job Qualifications
- Current enrollment in cosmetology or barber school
- Scheduled to graduate soon from cosmetology school
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of salon services and retail products
- Customer-focused mindset
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
- Problem-solving skills
- Cash handling experience preferred
Job Duties
- Warmly greet customers
- Communicate and educate customers on Great Clips processes including online check-in and wait time monitor
- Process transactions and issue receipts
- Demonstrate general knowledge of retail products and make recommendations
- Manage the flow of customers between check-in and service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front desk and lobby area
- Manage answering phone calls
- Inform customers about services
- Update customer records with contact information
- Assist stylists in maintaining salon cleanliness and sanitation
- Work a flexible schedule including peak times
- Provide dedication to great customer service
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Resolve customer issues effectively and efficiently
