The role of receptionist is pivotal at this dealership as it represents the very first point of contact for all incoming communications. The receptionist is responsible for courteously and efficiently answering all phone calls to the dealership in a timely and professional manner. This includes routing calls to the appropriate employee or department while ensuring that every customer experience begins with a pleasant and respectful interaction. Work schedule for this role includes various shifts throughout the week which may be subject to change: Mondays from 12 pm to 9 pm, Tuesdays from 9 am to 6 pm, Thursdays from 12 pm to 9 pm, Fridays from 9 am to 6 pm, with rotating Saturdays from 9 am to 6 pm and rotating Sundays from 10 am to 6 pm. This schedule requires flexibility and the ability to adapt seamlessly to changing hours as needed by the dealership.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and prior experience in retail or customer service, with automotive dealership experience preferred although not required. This role is suited for someone with a pleasant and courteous disposition, strong communication skills, and proficiency with computers and internet navigation. The receptionist must also be capable of handling various clerical tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and ordering supplies, all while ensuring confidentiality and professionalism.

Job Duties
- Answer all incoming calls according to all company policies with exceptional telephone skills
- direct phone calls to the appropriate parties as necessary
- take written messages for occupied personnel and notify them as soon as possible regarding pending messages
- coordinates questions and issues with the appropriate department personnel
- addresses customer concerns and issues or escalates them as needed
- helps with clerical/office tasks, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining records, sending bills, answering phones, ordering supplies, etc
- maintain confidentiality of company and customer information at all times
