The role of the Bilingual (English/Spanish) Receptionist at this West Houston location is pivotal in the daily operations of the healthcare facility. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service position preferred
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to use computer software for scheduling and record-keeping
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM

Job Duties
- Demonstrate professionalism at all times
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Answer and direct telephone calls
- Proficient with customer service skills
- Greet patients, families, and vendors
- Check in patients and notify therapists of arrival in a timely manner
- Complete paperwork necessary for therapist performing admissions to new clients
- Provide clients and others with accurate KDC information
- Ensure proper patient electronic medical records maintenance
- Track patient cancellation and no show rates weekly and complete documentation required to enforce policy (i.e. missed visit and no show letters)
- Ensure timely rescheduling and confirmation of scheduled appointments as needed in a timely manner
- Contact therapists to inform them of scheduling or changes in the schedule
- Assist office manager and patient case coordinators obtaining plans of care
- Maintain and ensure the organization and cleanliness of the waiting room
- Perform other tasks designated by the office manager
