Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- minimum of six months experience in a clerical role or completed a secretarial science program
- proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- capable of making independent decisions when circumstances warrant
- knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines
- ability to implement and interpret departmental programs, goals, and procedures
- must maintain professional working relationships
- uphold patient rights and safety standards
- maintain confidentiality
- understand and follow company policies
- display integrity and professionalism according to Code of Conduct
- complete mandatory compliance training
- ability to perform physical activities such as sitting, standing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, walking, and reaching
- read, write, speak, and understand English
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- successfully completed a secretarial science program from accredited college or university or have a minimum of six months experience in a clerical role
- proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post acute care facility
- ability to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
Job Duties
- Serve as the first point of contact for guests and visitors in person as well as via phone in a friendly and professional manner
- effectively operate the facility phone and paging system
- exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
- assist in the evacuation of patients
- demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
- concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
- communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
