Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Completed a secretarial science program from an accredited college or university or have at least six months experience in a clerical role
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
- Knowledgeable of practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines governing post-acute care functions
- Implement and interpret department programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and confidential information
- Understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
- Demonstrate integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life Care's Code of Conduct
- Physical ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English language
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Successfully completed a secretarial science program from an accredited college or university OR have a minimum of six months experience in a clerical role
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Knowledgeable of practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines governing post-acute care functions
- Ability to make independent decisions when necessary
- Strong interpersonal skills to maintain professional working relationships
- Understanding and adherence to company policies, including harassment and compliance procedures
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism aligning with Life Care's Code of Conduct
Job Duties
- Serve as the first point of contact for guests and visitors in person as well as via phone in a friendly and professional manner
- Effectively operate the facility phone and paging system
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
- Assist in the evacuation of patients
- Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
- Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
- Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
