Currently, VHB's headquarters in Watertown, MA is seeking a full-time Receptionist to join their team. This role is vital in creating a welcoming environment at the front desk and facilitating smooth office operations. The hourly salary range for this position is $22 to $25, with final compensation based on education, qualifications, and experience.
The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for visitors, playing a key role in establishing a positive impression of VHB. This position requires a highly organized and proactive individual capable of managing multiple administrative tasks efficiently and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include greeting and directing visitors through the check-in process, managing incoming phone calls and messages, scheduling conference room usage, and assisting with various building and facilities management tasks.
Beyond receptionist duties, this role supports the overall office environment by maintaining supplies, processing mail, tracking deliveries, and occasionally assisting with data entry, filing, and photocopying. The role demands proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused attitude, with the ability to multitask and work collaboratively within a team.
