The Full-Time Receptionist position, based at Wright Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), is an hourly, non-exempt role offering a salary range of $42,296 to $51,912 annually. The role involves front desk operations supporting both on-base and off-base locations, with standard working hours from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Primary responsibilities include greeting visitors, processing visitor identification and badging, handling security clearances and inspections, managing incoming mail and packages, and performing various administrative duties. The position requires working with the Department of Defense Information System for Security (DISS) to submit and verify personnel security clearances and enforcing facility policies to maintain security and confidentiality, especially regarding Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
The role emphasizes excellent organizational and multitasking skills while requiring a professional appearance and attitude. The candidate must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent plus four years of related experience or additional education, and possess a current Secret security clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance involving advanced security checks. Physical demands of the job are minimal, primarily involving light lifting of boxes or equipment.
