Job Requirements

  • maintain a safe work environment

  • accept and distribute mail and incoming packages
  • maintain the lobby and guest areas
  • manage conference room and materials
  • maintain all office equipment and order supplies
  • report any equipment or facility defects to supervisor
  • participate in total quality management projects
  • maintain acceptable attendance record
  • comply with all company safety rules and policies
  • report any accidents or injuries promptly
  • wear proper personal protective equipment
  • operate in a drug-free workplace
  • compose and draft memos and email correspondence
  • perform administrative duties including filing, photocopying, faxing, data entry, scanning
  • perform other duties as required
  • perform any other duties assigned by department manager

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED
  • 6+ months related experience as receptionist or general office assistant
  • strong organization skills
  • detail-oriented
  • exceptional follow-through
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to operate office equipment such as copier, fax, scanner, and printers
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet/email
  • professional, proactive, and positive attitude
  • ability to communicate effectively with visitors, customers, vendors, co-workers, and supervisors
  • safety conscious
