In this full-time Receptionist role based in Modesto, California, you will be a vital member of the team at a busy, multispecialty ASC. The position involves interfacing with patients, their families, physicians, and staff to coordinate the registration process effectively and efficiently. As a Registration Coordinator, your responsibilities will include admitting patients, processing necessary paperwork, updating patient information in the system, and handling financial transactions in accordance with office protocols. You will also be the first point of contact via phone, answering incoming calls and providing excellent customer service. Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- One year previous experience or some hospital clerical experience or medical terminology preferred
- Must have skills necessary to operate office equipment required to fulfill job duties
- Forty-five wpm typing skills required
- Medical terminology and computer experience beneficial
- Bilingual preferred
- Good communication skills
- Must have healthcare experience
- Compliance with mandatory vaccination requirements or approved exemption and regular testing if exempted
