The Front Office Agent position at Meadowood plays a crucial role in upholding these standards by ensuring seamless day-to-day operations of the front office area. The individual in this role will be responsible for delivering gracious hospitality to every visitor entering the reception lodge, embodying Meadowood's Forbes 5-Star service criteria. This position requires precision, strong communication skills, and the ability to resolve guest issues with discretion and efficiency.
A successful Front Office Agent will actively manage various shifts including AM, PM, and midnight, reflecting flexibility and a commitment to guest satisfaction at all hours. They are tasked with supporting colleagues during peak check-in and check-out periods, handling room changes, billing inquiries, and other operational responsibilities essential for a high-functioning front desk.
The role also involves maintaining a clean and orderly reception environment, ensuring all informational resources and supplies are fully stocked and readily available. Candidates should possess strong organizational skills and be proficient with front office technology including PMS systems and MS Office software. Excellent problem-solving capabilities, an eye for detail, and the ability to remain steady under pressure are vital attributes.
The position is full-time and offers a competitive starting hourly wage ranging from $22.00 to $24.00 depending on experience, education, and qualifications. Job Requirements
- Prior experience at the front desk or other hospitality experience
- high school graduate
- valid driver’s license
- fluent in English
- ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
- ability to analyze guest folios
- ability to solve problems and use independent judgment
- able to operate front office equipment
- stand for long periods of time
- frequent need to bend/stoop/squat and reach above shoulders
- frequent need to perform standing and walking activities
- lifting/carrying 35 pounds occasionally
- no lifting over 35 pounds without assistance
- vision requirements include frequent need to produce complete forms, read reports, view computer screen for long periods of time, see small details clearly and see beyond arm’s reach
- hearing requirements include frequent need to communicate in person and over the phone

Job Duties
- Actively work AM/PM/MID Front Desk Agent shifts
- provide gracious hospitality to all who enter reception lodge
- resolve 1st and 2nd level guest problems/complaints
- assist reception staff with heavy check-ins, check-outs, room moves, billing questions and all other tasks as needed to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction
- ensure that the reception desk and lodge is maintained in a clean and orderly fashion at all times
- ensure that supplies, maps, other resources and inventory are properly stocked and ordered for the desk
