  • 1-2 years experience in material management in a hospital
  • Able to lift 30 - 75 pounds using proper lifting techniques several times during shift
  • Job requires physical ability for long-term standing, occasional sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking, reaching with reaching above head and below waist
  • Able to read, write and communicate in English
  • Have cognitive skills for math, reading, filing, decision making and excellent communication skills

Job Duties

  • Assist with receiving of all incoming supplies for the hospital
  • sign the bill of lading for all supplies received
  • Assist with checking in of all equipment
  • Assist with entering all receiving into the HMS system
  • Assist with the shipping out of all repairs
  • Assist with inventorying par areas and delivering of supplies to floors
  • Ensure timely response to departmental periodic supply request
  • Comply with policy and procedure for storeroom requirements including fire code requirements, cleaning of the storeroom
