This role, designated as a Store Team Member—internally known as a Merchandiser—is a pivotal position within Total Wine & More's retail operations. Whether employed part-time or full-time, you will engage in a range of activities primarily centered on merchandising, but you may also be called upon to support sales, front-end, and other operational responsibilities on an as-needed basis. Reporting to the store management team, your primary focus will span maximizing product inventory through various logistical tasks such as processing freight, organizing and distributing stock, pulling and restocking merchandise, and constructing appealing displays including end caps with proper signage.

Supporting the digital business facet is another important aspect of this role. You will assist in fulfilling online orders and contribute to in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services. Delivery assignments, including driving, may also be part of your duties. A commitment to enhancing the customer shopping experience is essential; you will greet customers warmly, engage them to build meaningful relationships, and inform them about the products and services available. Total Wine & More invests in your growth by providing product knowledge training, particularly on wine, spirits, and beer, enabling you to offer well-informed recommendations.

Additionally, you will maintain awareness of ongoing advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs to better assist customers. Participation in ensuring the store environment is clean, safe, and compliant with all relevant laws—and especially regulations related to alcohol sales—is fundamental. This multifaceted role demands reliability, flexibility, and a team-oriented spirit to manage cross-functional responsibilities and various other duties assigned by management.

The position requires physical capabilities such as standing for extended periods, lifting heavy cases and pallets, and the ability to navigate ladders. Must be at least 21 years of age due to the nature of alcohol sales.
