Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience required
- 2-4 years relevant experience preferred
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills

- Knowledge of event policies and procedures
- Proficiency in scheduling and inventory management
- Experience with vendor relations and contract coordination
Job Duties
- Lead special event operations and staff for events held in recreation centers
- Serve as evening and weekend professional staff contact for special events, reservations, customers, and clients
- Ensure all event groups comply with department policies and procedures
- Participate in event planning and consultation with student organizations and other event client groups
- Coordinate with catering, facility operations, external vendors, and services to arrange equipment and provide event coverage
- Liaison between outside vendors, caterers, and clients to ensure successful event execution
- Manage purchasing requests, inventories, and internal audits related to event equipment
- Assist with the creation, review, and updating of process documentation for scheduling and special events
- Coordinate off-site equipment rentals
- Resolve routine problems and provide solutions during the event planning process
