As a prominent construction materials provider, Brannan operates multiple locations throughout the Denver region, offering a variety of concrete and related products to support large-scale construction projects as well as smaller developments. With a foundational focus on innovation and technical excellence, the company has cultivated a reputation for delivering materials that meet strict specifications and performance standards, thereby enabling contractors and builders to achieve exceptional outcomes on their projects.
Brannan Companies operates under a framework that values safety, environmental responsibility, and employee engagement, fostering a work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth. The company maintains a strong presence in the industry by leveraging advanced technologies and comprehensive quality control protocols, ensuring that each batch of ready mix concrete conforms to the highest standards of quality and performance. This commitment extends to thorough training programs and continuous improvement initiatives, which not only enhance product integrity but also fortify client trust.
This opening is for the position of Quality Control Technician within the Brannan Ready Mix division, reporting directly to the QC Manager. The role is full-time with an hourly pay range between $22.00 and $26.50, located at various sites throughout the Denver metropolitan area. The Quality Control Technician plays an integral role in maintaining and enhancing the quality standards of ready mix concrete products by performing a range of testing, sampling, and inspection duties. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to work closely with both field teams and management to ensure consistent quality and adherence to regulatory requirements.
A Quality Control Technician at Brannan conducts routine and advanced field observations and laboratory tests on concrete and related materials. Responsibilities include analyzing test data, executing corrective actions to prevent product non-conformance, and documenting all findings systematically. The role demands proficiency in following strict testing protocols, maintaining equipment accuracy, and reviewing key performance indicators and quality control reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
In addition to technical functions, the Quality Control Technician engages closely with production plants and job sites to ensure compliance with technical policies and customer specifications. This involves performing plant audits, investigating and addressing customer complaints thoroughly, and supporting continuous education of field teams about quality principles. The position requires readiness to visit multiple locations as needed to respond promptly to quality control concerns, always upholding the company’s standards for product excellence.
The ideal candidate for this role possesses at least two years of relevant technical experience, a valid driver’s license, and the physical capability to perform demanding tasks such as material lifting and extended hours of standing, walking, and bending. Preference is given to those with ACI Level I Certification and background knowledge in material testing and gradation procedures. This role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team within a respected company that prioritizes quality, safety, and professional development. Brannan Companies offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, along with retirement savings plans and supplemental insurance options, ensuring employees are supported in their personal and professional lives.
