VCNA operates under the global leadership of Votorantim Cimentos, which has a presence in 11 countries and focuses heavily on sustainability and innovative building solutions. The company offers a diverse portfolio including cement, ready-mix concrete, and aggregates, which are crucial materials used in constructing homes, highways, bridges, hospitals, schools, and commercial buildings. VCNA prides itself on a culture built on reliable partnerships and strong community ties. Its operations are marked by a commitment to delivering exceptional products and services while fostering innovation and sustainability in the building materials sector.
Joining VCNA means being part of a company that values growth, employee development, and a collaborative workplace culture rooted in diversity and inclusivity. The company actively supports career advancement through continuous learning opportunities and employee resource groups that promote mentorship and leadership development, specifically highlighting initiatives such as SheBuilds, which supports women in the workplace.
The Ready Mix Driver role at VCNA is essential to the company’s operational success, directly impacting project delivery and client satisfaction. This position involves safely delivering ready-mixed concrete to various job sites, ensuring quality and compliance with multiple safety and regulatory standards. The role requires vigilance and attention to detail, from inspecting materials and completing necessary documentation to maintaining vehicle cleanliness and representing the company on public routes and at job sites. A Ready Mix Driver at VCNA also supports operations by assisting with plant and site projects, emphasizing teamwork and flexibility.
The position offers competitive wages at $28.00 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans such as RRSP and 401K, tuition reimbursement, and paid maternity leave top-up among others. This role also demands compliance with various transportation regulations and mandates, such as those from the FMCSA and NYSDOT, ensuring that safety remains the highest priority. Availability for weekend work during peak seasons is expected.
VCNA is deeply committed to safety, health, and wellness, providing a safe workplace for employees, environmental stewardship for neighbors, and high-quality products for customers. The company’s core values highlight ethical respect, excellence in teamwork, and courageous transformation, all woven into its everyday working environment. VCNA fosters an inclusive and equitable workplace where every employee can bring their authentic selves to work and thrive. As part of a results-oriented culture, VCNA continues to welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds and beliefs, providing them a platform to grow and contribute meaningfully in the construction materials industry.
This opportunity to work as a Ready Mix Driver with VCNA is ideal for individuals who are safety-conscious, detail-oriented, physically capable, and eager to be part of a company making an impact on iconic structures like Toronto’s CN Tower, the St. Regis Chicago, and Louis High-Speed Rail in Chicago. Employees benefit from professional development, collaborative global teams, and a company culture that honors diversity, inclusion, and safety. Being a Ready Mix Driver at VCNA is more than a job; it's a chance to contribute to building the future with a trusted leader in construction materials.
