Known for its commitment to quality, safety, and innovation, Amrize plays a crucial role in supporting infrastructure development and building projects that matter. With multiple locations in Denver and surrounding cities, including Castle Rock RMX CO and Franktown RMX CO, Amrize stands out as a reliable partner in the construction industry by providing superior concrete products and exceptional delivery services.
The company prides itself on fostering a safe and inclusive workplace culture, where employees are encouraged to grow their careers while contributing to significant construction endeavors. Amrize values its workforce by offering competitive salaries, attractive benefits packages, and opportunities for ongoing professional development. Their dedication to safety and environmental responsibility ensures compliance with all regulatory standards, positioning Amrize as a leader in sustainable construction materials delivery.
About the Role: Amrize is currently hiring full-time Ready Mix Drivers to join their teams across multiple Denver-area locations. This role is instrumental in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of concrete, maintaining quality standards such as proper slump and load composition, and delivering materials to various job sites on time. The Ready Mix Driver not only operates the ready mix truck but also engages directly with customers to understand their specific requirements, promote value-added products like fiber, retardants, color, or other additives, and initiate additional orders when needed.
Candidates in this position will be responsible for the entire delivery process, including pre- and post-trip truck inspections, minor truck maintenance, load checks during transit, washout procedures at the end of deliveries, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and operational efficiency of the truck and mixer. The role requires communicating effectively with dispatch and customers, ensuring all safety, compliance, environmental, and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements are met.
This position demands excellent driving skills, the ability to perform simple mathematical calculations, and attention to detail in handling paperwork and assisting plant management when necessary. Safety is a top priority, including strict adherence to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) protocols and respirator use where applicable. The Ready Mix Driver contributes significantly to the success of Amrize’s mission to build and support North America’s infrastructure by ensuring concrete deliveries are made precisely, safely, and punctually. This role offers a competitive salary along with comprehensive benefits that support employee well-being and career growth.
