Known for its dedication to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction, Amrize offers rewarding career opportunities for individuals passionate about contributing to impactful projects. The company values diversity and inclusion, fostering a workplace environment where all employees feel respected and empowered to grow professionally.

Amrize is currently seeking full-time Ready Mix Drivers to join their team. This role is fundamental to ensuring the timely and safe delivery of concrete to various job sites, meeting specific customer requirements. Ready Mix Drivers at Amrize are entrusted with maintaining the proper slump and additional concrete qualities such as fiber, retardant, color, and other additives based on customer requests. Drivers play a key role in customer service by facilitating additional order processes and offering advice on value-added ingredients to enhance the concrete mix.

The Ready Mix Driver position involves numerous responsibilities that go beyond simple transportation. Drivers are required to perform pre- and post-trip inspections to guarantee vehicle safety, maintain the truck’s operational readiness, and handle minor repairs when necessary. The role demands attention to detail, as drivers must ensure the concrete mix is maintained appropriately during transport and conduct thorough washout procedures to prevent the hardening of concrete on equipment. Safety compliance with DOT regulations and company protocols is paramount throughout the driver's duties.

This is a physically engaging job requiring excellent driving skills and the ability to manage equipment effectively. Candidates need a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and must pass a DOT drug screen along with obtaining and maintaining a DOT physical card. Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking English, and performing simple mathematical calculations is necessary. Moreover, the role requires adherence to safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) such as respirators, which must fit correctly to ensure employee safety.

Amrize offers a competitive salary and an attractive benefits package designed to support employees' health, wellbeing, and financial security. Benefits include retirement savings options like 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase programs, comprehensive medical and dental insurance, health savings accounts (HSAs), flexible spending accounts (FSAs), paid time off, paid holidays, and parental leave. Additionally, Amrize supports continuous learning with educational assistance and promotes a comfortable work environment with its dress-for-your-day policy.

Joining Amrize as a Ready Mix Driver means becoming part of a respected company that values its workforce and plays a crucial role in building and maintaining essential infrastructure. The company accepts applications on an ongoing basis, inviting motivated individuals who meet the qualifications to contribute to a dynamic and safety-focused team. Amrize celebrates diversity and inclusion, making it an excellent place for career growth and professional development within the ready mix concrete industry.
